How to Install a Shower Curtain and Rod
Instructions and Tips for Installing your New Yellow Shower Curtain
After you purchase a yellow shower curtain, you will probably want to install it into your bathroom shower. If you do not know what you are doing, then this can become a tricky task. However, with a great set of instructions, you can turn that tricky task into something very simple that will be done in no time.
What you will need to install a yellow shower curtain is a shower rod, a shower curtain, a shower liner, and the shower curtain rings. You can find all of this pretty cheaply at the store depending on what kinds you get. After you get all of this, you are ready to start prepping your bathroom for your shower curtain. Since installing a shower curtain can be tricky, you should follow these instructions closely.
First, you should determine where you want your shower curtain to be; this will be height you place the rod. It is typical to place the shower curtain rod 5 inches above the height of the shower wall. You should also place it far enough from the shower to hang over the tub, but close enough to the shower so water does not get out.
Second, you should mark the height of where the yellow shower curtain will be. Afterwards, place a mark with a pencil of where the drill locations of the shower curtain rod will be. This will make it much easier to line it up perfectly.
Third, place one of the brackets for the shower rod at the drill points, and drill the screws in that were included with the installation kit. Then do the same for the second bracket. Afterwards, check to make sure that the brackets are level with each other.
Fourth, place the shower curtain rod in the brackets. Do this by first placing one of the rod into one bracket, and gently force the rod in the other bracket.
Fifth, you are now ready to install your yellow shower curtain. Place the rings on the shower curtain rod (follow the installation kit instructions for doing so), and attach the shower curtain.
After following these instructions, you are now ready to use your shower with your brand new shower curtain.
